Sulfur removal Semi/Dry FGD DeSOx

Weghaux Energy adopts high-tech processes for flue gas desulfurization (FGD). Depending on the availability of customer resources, we adopt Dry or Semi-Dry systems, aiming at the efficient removal of sulfur (SOx) in industrial emissions.

This method stands out for its operational simplicity, efficiency greater than 99% in removing SO2 and SO3, and flexibility to deal with different absorbs without the need to reheat the gases. Operating at around 70°C, the Dry process uses hydrated lime to absorb harmful gases, resulting in a reusable dry product and minimizing the need for special materials (stainless steel parts).

DRY technology optimizes heat and mass exchange, ensuring effective desulfurization even at partial load conditions, making it an economical and environmentally sustainable solution that suits a wide range of industrial installations.

This approach not only complies with strict environmental standards, but also offers a cost-effective and sustainable solution for the energy industry, adapting to diverse operating conditions and installation types, from small to medium-sized plants to large-scale applications.

Weghaux Energy industrial dampers are designed for precise control and on/off operations of air flow, gases and smoke at temperatures up to 1150ºC. With a range of models, including Butterfly, Venetian, Disc, Guillotine, By-Pass and Drawer, those equipments are essential in various industrial applications.

Constructed with cylindrical or rectangular casings, plates, sealing gaskets and internal and external bearings, Weghaux Energy dampers offer flexibility for efficient post-installation adjustments, ensuring optimized operation and adaptability.
